Quick study for my illustration class. The deadline is in... 4 months or so but I'd rather do this than my design homework ahaha! I'm feeling a bit better now that the stress is mostly gone. Watercolor and a bit of white acrylic and gouache on the places where I messed up.

Based on Sami people's story about moon's daughter Niekija and how she fell in love with Náinnas, northern lights. Niekija was said to have round red cheeks and beautiful hair that shone silver.
